ALO7 Qualified for Foreign Online Quality Tutors from North America

On December 1, 2016, the Annual Influential Educational Brand of Foreign Languages Awards was hosted by Tencent Website in Beijing. The purpose of the event was to award those who had made meaningful contributions to modernizing the educational industry. Educational scholars, founders of educational companies, and explorers of Internet education discussed changes in the educational industry and the future production of it. The CEO of ALO7, Dr. Pengkai Pan, attended the event and gave a brief interview with Tencent Website.

During the interview, Dr. Pan discussed the company’s recent productions over the previous year. After introducing the company’s teaching materials, including readers, class books, digital courseware, online homework, and other related products, Dr. Pan then described ALO7’s range of users and the vital role that they play in a students’ learning experience. Lastly, Dr. Pan explained the advantages and convenience of providing users with an online tutoring option whereby ALO7 recruits and manages highly qualified foreign teachers.

Dr. Pan also answered the host’s questions about the influence of the Internet on the educational industry. Dr. Pan stressed the importance of providing a suitable English teaching environment for students who feel detached from an English language learning environment. In his experience, while numerous Chinese students are unable to speak English fluently, they often present strong grammar skills in English examinations. For this reason, ALO7 offers engaging content that combines Chinese and Western teaching methods in order to create an environment that is both familiar and challenging to students. Moreover, ALO7 recognizes that students’ comprehension is the focal point in classes. For that reason, teachers supervise a maximum of three students per class. These highly trained American teachers collaborate with Chinese teachers to enhance students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Dr. Pan also shared ALO7’s philosophy that students should be allowed to ask questions during class. This notion contrasts with the traditional structure of Chinese educational where students answer rather than ask questions. Dr. Pan believes that Chinese education will soon be required to undergo a difficult transition. This frustrating process will include the exploration of new ways to overcome the challenges of learning English. Overcoming those challenges necessitates the cooperation of like-minded peers and the assistance of collaborative work among partners, founders, and investors in the educational industry.

Having played an important role initiating the exploration, production, and design for new teaching methods in China, ALO7 ensures the highest quality of its products through testing multiple theories and practices. ALO7 continues to pave the way for the future of Chinese education and aims to make significant contributions in the field.
