ALO7 Launches New Online One-to-One Course: ALO7 Online Tutoring

On November 18, 2015, ALO7 released an online one-to-one course conducted by foreign teachers: ALO7 Online Tutoring (AOT). ALO7 announced the promotion of its online AOT course at the International Learning Power Conference in Beijing the same month. The course was designed to guarantee the exceptional quality of teaching by providing course materials exclusively under the instruction of native English-speaking foreigners. The company is aiming its targets as the training institutions using ALO7 teaching materials.

The classes, 25-minute lessons, provide a one-to-one lecture conducted by American instructors. In order to maintain consistent high-quality teaching and maximum learning, it is recommended that customers and clients purchase the course for an entire term or semester. Regarding service preparation, ALO7 ensures that all of their teachers are rigorously interviewed and trained over the course of three months prior to teaching. The average recruitment rate of teachers is 8%.

To ensure uniformity, the AOT online classes match the offline English teaching materials. Both employ identical sets of learning materials. While offline teaching materials focus more on learning vocabulary and grammar, online classes focus more on developing listening and speaking skills.

Online classes also offer clients flexible scheduling, which allows them to arrange schedules and lesson times that suit them. In addition, clients can select which instructors they want. The AOT program is designed to maximize interaction between students, teachers, and parents. When students finish one lesson, parents can view comments from the instructor regarding the student’s performance, and are also able to review the course video.

ALO7 is currently collaborating with Only Education, a top-tier institution that incorporates ALO7’s AOT courseware into its educational curriculum. ALO7 asserts that offline English training institutions for young learners can be greatly influenced by online English training. An increasing number of students are joining online English training institutions. Hence, numerous small- to medium-sized institutions are struggling to recruit and manage foreign teachers. To resolve this issue, more and more offline institutions are utilizing online educational programs from online specialized firms such as VIPKID, DaDaABC, and ALO7.
