Our stories revolve around the daily life of five Malus—a group of young characters unique to ALO7. Students learn by adopting the perspective of the curious, quirky, and adventurous Malus, characters designed specifically to be relatable and offer perspectives and opinions that young learners can relate to. This type of experience-based reading not only helps children gain knowledge intuitively but sparks their imaginations and offers stories that stimulate their interest in reading.

This innovative system has been developed to ensure that students are able to understand and absorb content and develop an analytical understanding of written material. Dr. Victoria Saxon
Dr. Victoria Saxon is a prolific author of children’s books and has won various awards her work. Her prolific body of work is well-recognized and includes many best-sellers. Dr. Saxon graduated from Princeton University and her distinguished career spans over two decades. She has a doctoral degree in educational psychology and devotes her effort to teaching English to young learners through story-telling. She currently resides in California and works as a professor of Creative Writing at Pepperdine University.
